MISSION
The Morrisons Cove Home, in affiliation with the Middle Pennsylvania District Church of the Brethren, is established to serve the members of the Church of the Brethren and our neighbors in the larger community. Morrisons Cove Home provides a residential community and health care to men and women in active retirement as well as to those in need of convalescence, assisted living or long term health care. Believing that God charges us to care for the whole person, the Home provides services that enrich the spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual and physical lives of residents.
GOALS
- To provide a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere in which residents may continue to live and grow with personal dignity, security, safety, health and wholeness.
- To provide nursing care that will enhance life and promotes health and healing.
- To encourage families to be partners in caregiving, and to create extended families for all those who live and grow at our Home.
- To become a resource for the community at large, by identifying the needs of the elderly, and by enhancing the spiritual growth of the retiring adults and their family members.
- To provide a workplace where all staff members feel valued and nurtured, and are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally.
