"You know its purpose. It is not a poorhouse. It is not a mere makeshift. It is not a mere shelter for paupers. It is to be a home...Keep prominently before your minds that this home is a religious product, a monument to Christian benevolence."
~ William J. Swigart, August 29, 1903

Why participate in the program?
In the past few years, it has become increasingly difficult for The Village to continue its ministry of caring for older adults especially those without financial resources. Due to decreases in government reimbursement and added healthcare regulations, we are not always able to care for every person who comes to us. Contributions to our endowment fund would ensure a sustainable flow of income for our residents and their care allowing this important ministry that began over a century ago to continue into the future.

What is the Guardian Program?
Since 1903 The Village at Morrisons Cove has been a protector, a keeper, a safeguard for older adults in our communities. Our mission calls for us to help care for and preserve a way of life for those who can no longer do it themselves. The Guardian Program was established in 2016 to enable The Village to continue its ministry of caring for and protecting the elderly including those who no longer have financial resources. The program will help to increase The Village's current endowment fund. As a participant in the program, you commit to giving an endowment to The Village at Morrisons Cove.
Our goal is to double the endowment fund
in the next three years.
