Personal Care offers an alternative to nursing care for those who require minimal assistance with activities of daily living and supervision of their medications. Respite care services are also available.
In order for an individual to be appropriate for personal care at The Village, he or she should be able to ambulate independently, with or without assistive devices, and enjoy meals in the dining room with little or no assistance. The individual should also be mentally and physically alert and able to bath, groom, and dress themselves with minimal assistance.
Personal care services include:
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served daily in the dining room
- Housekeeping and laundry services
- Medical transportation
- Social services and case management
- Social activities programming
- Chaplain services
- Utilities
- Management of medications and medical needs
- 24-hour supervision by our professional nursing department
Also available but not included in the daily rate:
- Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy
- Dentistry, Podiatry, and Optometry provided on a consultation basis
- In-room telephone and cable services
